With Beetlejuice, we are introduced into the wonderful vision and story telling of a man who has now become the most original and entertaining film maker in Hollywood. Michael Keaton gives his finest comedic performance, while Alec Baldwin (A man with such a dry and boring personality that he seems dead.) gives an almost biographical performance. Wynona Ryder is a stand out, excluding Keaton. The film is both wacky and outrageous. It rates a 10 on the entertainment level. What is more important however, is that "Beetlejuice" will stand the test of time and be one of the most memorable comedies of it's time.
